Our Story
Ground Control Pros was founded in 2005 and in june of 2024 Justin and Amber Schumacher assumed leadership of the company. we are both local to teller county for three generations now and are currently raising our five beautiful children Here Together. we truly take pride in our community.
Justin has been involved in outdoor work and has been a mechanic and heavy machinery since the age of 16.

Who will work on my landscape?
The only people who will work on your landscape are our experienced employees on our GCI crew. Our team members have experience and horticultural, construction, construction and landscaping backgrounds. We pride ourselves in becoming familiar with your landscape needs.
Are you insured and licensed?
We have all necessary licenses for our area, and we carry insurance for all of our projects.
Some larger construction projects require special licenses and certifications. We have trusted members of the landscaping community that we work with for those special cases.
What kind of landscaping do you do?
We can do all kinds of landscaping, but our specialty is in mixing non-native and native plants to make a landscape that meets your needs and fits the ecology of our area.
